"Alligator Blood", the new video from the British metalcore act BRING ME THE HORIZON, cane be seen below. The song comes off BRING ME THE HORIZON's third album, "There Is A Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is A Heaven, Let's Keep It A Secret", which sold 20,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 17 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD also entered the official chart in the U.K. at position No. 13.
The team at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden (where BRING ME THE HORIZON recorded 2008's "Suicide Season") was again at the helm of the recording, this time bringing in electronic and programming authority KC Blitz to assist with the instrumental aspects of the album. The CD also includes appearances from various special guests, including Josh Franceschi of YOU ME AT SIX (on "Fuck"). Also featured on the album are Josh Scogin of THE CHARIOT (on "The Fox And The Wolf"), Sonny Moore (a.k.a. Skrillex) with electronica contributions and Canadian electro-pop starlet Lights (on "Crucify Me" and "Don't Go").
"Where The Dead Ships Dwell", the new video from Swedish metallers IN FLAMES, can be seen below. The clip was once again helmed by director Patric Ullaeus of Revolver Film Company, who has previously worked with DIMMU BORGIR, LACUNA COIL, SONIC SYNDICATE and KAMELOT, among others.
IN FLAMES will release the "Where The Dead Ships Dwell" digital single next month containing three completely different remixes. With versions by German rapper Casper, drum-and-bass act THE QEMISTS and Kristof Bathory, vocalist of the black metal band DAWN OF ASHES, there should be something everyone can enjoy.
"The songs have already been made and the originals are as good as they can be, but what if I give them to an artist from a whole different genre, what would be there take on it?" says IN FLAMES vocalist Anders Fridén. "I love collaborations like this and all the artists we worked with have done an awesome job. It's not meant to be taken dead serious and it's not how In Flames is gonna sound next, but I love it and I hope you'll enjoy a twist to the formula."

A chuva não deu muita trégua. Mas isso não foi problema algum para os integrantes do Aerosmith e as cerca de 32 mil pessoas que estiveram presentes no show realizado na noite deste domingo (30), na Arena Anhembi, em São Paulo. Steven Tyler e banda, que estão percorrendo a América Latina com a turnê "Back On The Road Tour", mostraram para quem quisesse ver, e ouvir, que mesmo com 40 anos de estrada eles ainda têm pique para dar e vender.
Assim, com o público nas mãos, "Ride of the Valkyries" --do compositor alemão Wagner-- abriu às 20h16 o espetáculo. "Draw the Line" (de 1977, do álbum homônimo) deu início ao repertório da banda, que desta vez estava mais carregado de clássicos do que na última performance da banda por aqui, em 30 de maio de 2010. Logo depois da primeira música, um fã gritou para todo mundo ouvir "Chupa, Axl Rose", em referência ao show do Guns N' Roses realizado no início deste mês, no Rock In Rio, com um Axl já velho e quase sem voz. "Same Old Song and Dance" (1974) e "Mama Kin" (1973) foram bem recebidas pelos fãs, seguida de "Janie's Got a Gun" (1989), com o público cantando a letra toda junto com Tyler. Mas um dos momentos mais memoráveis foi quando o cantor começou, à capela, "What It Takes" (1989). De repente, por alguns instantes, ele parou e deixou que apenas as pessoas cantassem, transformando o Anhembi num imenso coral.
Os hits foram selecionados preciosamente: de “Cryin” (1993) a "Love in an Elevator" (1989) e até "Angel" (1987), que foi pedida em coro pelo público e atendida imediatamente. Para fechar, um cover: o blues de 1951 "Train Kept A-Rollin'". Os solos foram comedidos para não cansar o niguém. O guitarrista Joe Perry -- acompanhado com a guitarra base de Brad Whitford-- mostrou todo o seu vistuosismo; o baixista Tom Hamilton deu suas dedilhadas antes de tocar "Sweet Emotion"; já o baterista Joey Kramer tocou até com as mãos, sem baquetas.
Tyler pulou e cantou durante as 2 horas de show, não trocou uma única vez de roupa, tocou bateria, dançou com uma boneca inflável atirada no palco pelos fãs e não deixou que a idade -- e até mesmo os machucados provenientes da queda ocorrida no Paraguai-- lhe tirassem nem um grama de energia e simpatia. Afinal, ser um "rock star" lindo e magro, e com a mesma potência vocal dos anos 90, é para poucos.

O baixista do MÖTLEY CRÜE, NIKKI SIXX, fez um boletim de ocorrência essa semana devido ao desaparecimento de seu filho – ainda que o músico tivesse uma ideia quase certa de onde o garoto estava.
Fontes na polícia disseram ao site TMZ que Sixx comunicou o Departamento de Polícia de Malibu que seu filho mais jovem, DECKER NILSSON SIXX, tinha desaparecido. De acordo com o mesmo site, Sixx tinha conhecimento de pra onde o menino teria fugido – a casa de um amigo.
Um delegado visitou a casa do tal amigo e achou o fugitivo, que tinha sumido após uma discussão com um membro da família. A polícia informou ao adolescente que sua família queria que ele voltasse pra casa, e ele concordou.
Ligações feitas para o agente de Sixx não foram retornadas.
O vocalista Axl Rose concedeu uma entrevista de uma hora para o programa “That Metal Show” do canal VH1, algumas horas depois do show do GUNS N' ROSES na American Airlines Arena, na Flórida. E não é só o público que vai aos shows do GUNS que tem a honra de aguentar os atrasos do vocalista. O apresentador Eddie Trunk expressou no twitter sua frustração em ter de esperar Axl decidir se daria a entrevista ou não, já que ele tinha chegado aos estúdios 3h da madrugada de domingo e às 5h30 ainda não tinha se decidido. Por volta das 7h da manhã, Eddie postou no seu twitter: “5 anos depois de uma entrevista no rádio, Axl Rose concedeu uma entrevista ao TMS. Está feito! Irá ao ar dia 11/11 no VH1 Classic! Aguardem!”.
Paul Stanley, vocalista do Kiss, divulgou em seu site oficial que fez uma cirurgia nas cordas vocais e, de acordo com os médicos, o procedimento foi bem-sucedido.
A operação foi realizada nesta terça-feira, 25 de outubro, para reparar "alguns pequenos problemas aparecem depois de 40 anos pregando o rock'n'roll", declarou o vocalista, atualmente com 59 anos.
O Kiss deve embarcar em uma nova turnê no segundo semestre de 2012, para promover seu 20º álbum de estúdio, Monster, que será lançado em janeiro. De acordo com o site, a turnê será grandiosa, passando por vários continentes e países.
Alguns fãs do Metallica ficaram revoltados quando foi anunciado que o show da banda seria adiado. Esse seria um show histórico, seria o primeiro da banda na Índia mas devido a "problemas técnicos" a banda foi forçada a adiar a apresentação.

Together we hashed out some concepts for attack scenes as well as the band's performance.
O Aerosmith divulgou um comunicado oficial sobre o acidente de Steven Tyler, esclarecendo que sua queda no hotel foi consequência de uma intoxicação alimentar e desidratação.
De acordo com uma notícia anterior da Associated Press, o vocalista perdeu dois dentes e recebeu pontos por pequenos cortes no rosto. No entanto, Tyler já está bem e o show no Paraguai foi remarcado para esta noite e sua apresentação no Brasil segue confirmada.
Vocalist Andy Biersack of Los Angeles theatrical rockers BLACK VEIL BRIDES broke his nose during the band's concert in Luxembourg Wednesday night (October 26). As a result, the group has been forced to put all of its previously announced European shows on hold until further notice.
Writing on Twitter, Andy said, "For those asking, during last night's show I broke my nose down the center, splitting the bone. . . I apologize and promise to do my best to recover. Excruciating pain and it's my own damn stage antics fault. I promise to try my best to heal quickly."

Biersack broke three ribs on June 18 after trying to jump onto a stage from a 15-foot balcony during the band's concert at Hot Topic in Hollywood, California. Despite the injury, the frontman returned to the stage and finished the gig.

The performance footage for the clip was shot on September 27 at The Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, California. The track comes off the band's tenth studio album, "The Path Of Totality", which will be released on December 6 via Roadrunner Records.
"The Path Of Totality" is an experimental album which finds KORN shifting gears and exploring new territory. That should hardly come as a shock to the band's diehard fans, as KORN exploded onto the scene in the'90s and established themselves as hard rock game-changers from that point on.
For "The Path Of Totality", the band collaborated with some of the leading dubstep and electronic producers in the world, including Skrillex, Excision, Datsik, Noisia, Kill the Noise, and 12th Planet. The result is something completely new, yet utterly and definitively KORN. Leave it to a band like KORN to continue to reinvent itself two decades deep into its career.
"The title 'The Path Of Totality' refers to the fact that in order to see the sun in a full solar eclipse, you must be in the exact right place in the exact right time," KORN frontman Jonathan Davis explained. "That's how this album came together. I think all the producers feel the same way. I'm not sure it could ever happen again"
The band's recent (and much lauded) collaboration with dubstep's hottest producer, Skrillex, titled "Get Up!", was the surprise rock hit of the summer, the buzz of which started in Coachella's dance tent in April 2011, when Jonathan and Munky joined Skrillex on stage for a show stealing unannounced performance of the song.
That performance generated the start of a deafening buzz. The track has sold over 150,000 downloads, while the lyric video has generated nearly two million views and counting. The song, a Top 10 rock radio hit, still continues to be one of the best-testing songs on the format over 24 weeks after its release.
Adds James "Munky" Shaffer, "'Get Up!' started as a bit of an experiment, but we had such an amazing response from our fans and had such a great time collaborating that a full album of tracks came together in a couple of months. We couldn't wait to get to the studio every day to finish the next song."

The album will be released in two configurations: as a standard 11-song CD and a special edition CD that will include bonus tracks as well as a DVD of "The Encounter", a full-length video concert of KORN's mind-blowing, once-in-a-lifetime performance in the middle of a 900-foot-long crop circle in a wheat field in Bakersfield. The complete concert, previously seen last year on TV and online in an abbreviated form, will be offered in its entirety to those who purchase the deluxe version.
AEROSMITH singer Steven Tyler was interviewed on the "Today" show this morning (Thursday, October 27) about the incident on Tuesday when he fell in his hotel bathroom in Paraguay, hitting his face and losing two teeth after he apparently became dizzy due to gastrointestinal problems.
When asked by Matt Lauer if he was "clean and sober," Tyler said, "That's not the issue."
"Being in the program, it's something we have to expect," the singer said of of speculation that he may have fallen off the wagon. "People thinking that is natural and normal. We flew last night from Paraguay after that incident and we're in Argentina for two hours. And anyone who knows anyone who uses substances wouldn't be up at this hour having a talk with Matt Lauer and the rest of America. It's nothing I don't understand. It makes me a little upset. But people think that."
"So you're clean and sober? That's not the issue?" Lauer asked.
"No, it's not the issue," said Tyler, who added he had some food poisoning and also received stitches above his eye.
"Short of having my legs taken off, people are going to expect me on stage no matter what," joked Tyler. "I went out on stage last night and I wore my sunglasses for the first song. I took them off and the crowd roared. It's all about playing to the people. We rocked out. Not only did I break my face, but we broke a house record, so life is beautiful, Matt."

O SWU 2011 vai acontecer entre os dias 12 e 14 de novembro no Parque Brasil 500 em Paulínia, a 120 quilômetros de São Paulo. São esperadas entre 60 e 70 mil pessoas por dia.

Durante sua estadia no Paraguai, Steven Tyler sofria com uma infecção alimentar (contraída alguns dias antes no Peru), que levou a uma desidratação, que levou a um desmaio no banheiro, e na queda ele sofreu ferimentos na face e quebrou um dente. Ao menos foi essa a informação publicada pelo site TMZ. Empresários da banda informaram que os ferimentos foram pequenos, e que Tyler já foi liberado do hospital. O show do dia 26 no Paraguai foi remarcado para o dia 27.
Recentemente o vocalista Rob Halford andou falando na imprensa sobre a possibilidade de uma turnê de uma espécie de Big 4 britânico, que reuniria Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Motörhead e Iron Maiden. De acordo com o site BraveWords.com, fontes próximas ao Priest dão conta que essa excursão pode mesmo acontecer. Porém, sem a presença da Donzela de Ferro.
Os outros três grupos fariam uma série de datas pela América do Norte entre os meses de junho e julho. Por hora, são apenas rumores, mas caso se confirme, pode ser uma evidência que as rusgas da briga entre Bruce Dickinson e Sharon Osbourne ainda não se apagaram e dificilmente sairão.
O vocalista do AEROSMITH, Steven Tyler, sofreu agora há pouco um pequeno acidente no banheiro do seu quarto de hotel, no Paraguai.
A banda está no país para uma apresentação na data de hoje, no Jockey Club. Steven teria caído no banheiro do seu quarto e sofrido alguns cortes no rosto, além de perder dois dentes, de acordo com o portal Paraguay.com.
O acidente aconteceu no Hotel em que a banda está hospedada (Conmebol Bourbon) e o vocalista foi transferido para um hospital da cidade imediatamente após o ocorrido.
Segundo a última atualização do citado site, Steven já saiu do hospital e até o momento não houve cancelamento da apresentação de hoje.

O vocalista Axl Rose interrompeu o show do GUNS N' ROSES no ultimo domingo na cidade de Monterrey, no México, depois que objetos foram atirados no palco. Durante a primeira música, o vocalista interrompeu a banda e advertiu a plateia que iria abandonar o show caso eles continuassem a “jogar merda” no palco.
“É isso que vocês querem? - perguntou Axl ao público – Por que nós vamos para casa, é isso que vocês querem? Vamos nos divertir.” Um vídeo feito por um fã mostra o incidente. Segundo o site sdpnoticias.com, a banda teve que pagar 870 dólares de multa por atrasar o show em mais de três horas. Assim como no Rock in Rio, os organizadores culparam “problemas técnicos” pelo atraso, mas é conhecida a fama de Axl Rose em atrasar shows. Promotores estão ficando relutantes em contratar a banda devido a esse tipo de problema. No festival Reading de 2010, os organizadores desligaram o som da banda após o atraso de um hora e o show terminou antes do previsto.
O rockeiro canadense DANKO JONES criticou a colaboração do METALLICA com LOU REED, e disse ter colocado à venda sua coleção do METALLICA após ouvir o controverso “Lulu”. Em uma série de tweets no fim de semana, DANKO manifestou sua opinião sobre “Lulu”, chamando-o de "Ishtar", "Waterworld" e "Battlefield Earth" do rock 'n' roll (filmes considerados grandes fracassos do cinema). Para finalizar, Danko postou no twitter: “Bom dia, ouvi o álbum METALLICA/ LOU REED ontem à noite. Coleção do METALLICA à venda, tweet seu preço”.

Enquanto algumas bandas parecem entrar no palco já querendo sair, outras seguem na direção contrária e, às vezes, precisam ser tiradas dele por conta do entusiasmo em tocar frente ao seu público. Com o grupo britânico SAXON é exatamente assim. Quem não se lembra das hilárias histórias envolvendo a banda em festivais, quando tinham o som desligado por ultrapassar o tempo limite? No Brasil nunca foi diferente e, mesmo não precisando ter os instrumentos desplugados em nosso país, sempre realizaram concertos longos e cheios de clássicos irretocáveis. O HSBC Brasil recebeu no último sábado o quinteto e, com todo respeito, creio que a casa levará um tempinho para superar um show bom assim.
São 19 álbuns de estúdio lançados e a tarefa ingrata de montar um repertório que agrade, pelo menos, a maioria. Desta vez escolheram 24 canções de 10 discos. Como bons britânicos, entraram pontualíssimos às 22h mandando “Hammer of the Gods”, uma das seis (!)tocadas do mais recente Call to Arms (2011). As duas seguintes foram até covardia, ou seria possível ficar imune aos hinos “Heavy Metal Thunder” e “Never Surrender”, dos essenciais Strong Arm of the Law (1980) e Denim and Leather (1981), respectivamente? Retornaram discretamente ao novo com as interessantes “Chasing the Bullet” e a balada "Back in ’79" com seu refrão grudento, intercalaram com duas outras das antigas, “Motorcycle Man” e a fenomenal “And the Bands Played On”, para então retomarem ao Call to Arms com minha favorita dele, a belíssima “Mists of Avalon”. Esta música nos remete à fase mais hard rock da banda, felizmente lembrada no set como observaremos mais adiante. Pessoalmente acho muito legal a disposição da letra com as melodias vocais criadas por Byff Byford, quando canta “(…) In the mists of Avalon/ She's waiting there for you/ The Lady of the Lake/ You must be brave and true (…)”.
O Saxon modificou um pouco a disposição das canções com relação às duas apresentações anteriores. Um exemplo disso deve-se à inclusão de “Demon Sweeney Todd”, do Into the Labyrinth (2009), perfeita escolha àquela altura por conta da estrutura old-school com que compuseram boa parte do track-listing daquele registro. Quem se ligou na letra certamente transportou-se a Londres e sentiu o clima sombrio gerado pela narrativa. A ótima faixa-título do derradeiro disco não só manteve a plateia empolgada como conectou-se perfeitamente com “Dallas 1 PM”, uma das favoritas de 10 entre 10 fãs dos ingleses. Impressionante como algo composto há mais 30 anos soa tão moderno!
“Rock ‘n’ Roll Gypsy” talvez tenha sido a grande (e agradabilíssima) surpresa, carregada da já citada atmosfera hard rock com que flertaram em meados da década de 80. Tenho os álbuns Innocence Is No Excuse (1985), Rock the Nations (1986) e Destiny (1988) como alguns dos meus favoritos e, mesmo sabendo que diversos fãs irão discordar, sempre achei uma injustiça não incluírem mais faixas deles nas turnês. Se leram meus pensamentos não sei, mas a sequencia deliciosa com “Rock the Nations” – a música – e “Battle Cry” (emocionante!) certamente me fizeram calar a boca, fechar os olhos e imaginar aqueles concertos em arenas gigantescas tão concorridos nos anos oitenta. De volta ao novo com a mediana “When Doomsday Comes (Hybrid Theory)”, a partir dali seriam apenas um clássico após o outro, em uma coleção primorosa que trouxe, nesta exata ordem – e intercalada por dois encores – as atemporais “Denim and Leather” e “20,000 Ft.”; as quebra-pescoços “Wheels of Steel”, “Crusader” e “747 (Strangers in the Night)”; além dos hits irremediavelmente inesquecíveis “Power and the Glory”, do homônimo lançado em 1983 e “Ride Like the Wind”, versão melhorada da original pertencente ao compositor norte-americano Christopher Cross.
Como se já não fossem suficientes, após um solo de baixo bacana do impagável Nibbs Carter, ainda nos brindaram com “Strong Arm of the Law” e aquela que para quem vos escreve define a banda se precisarmos escolher apenas uma de suas criações: “Princess of the Night”. Dilana Robichaux, who is best known for her participation on the CBS reality show "Rock Star: Supernova", recently joined the Tracii Guns-led version of L.A. GUNS as the band's new lead singer.
Fan-filmed video footage of the revamped group's first live performance, which took place this past Friday, October 21 at Backstage Live in San Antonio, Texas, can be seen below.
Guns previously stated about Dilana's addition to L.A. GUNS, "The final straw was her audition, where she completely took control of the environment by injecting a type of soul into these old new songs that I have never heard before. The first tune we jammed on was the OTIS REDDING classic 'These Arms Of Mine', and even a very skeptical Jeremy [Guns, bass] looked up at me and mouthed 'Holy Shit' to me and I had the same feeling. Then we ran through 'One More Reason', 'Never Enough', and, of course, 'The Ballad Of Jayne', and it was an awakening of just how professional and soulful of a singer Dilana is. After getting responses from the label, my agent and manager — who are all really into a drastic positive change for L.A. GUNS and myself — we all feel this is a ballsy and risky change that we all collectively feel good about. I expect there will be some changes in the live setlist and I hope we can get straight into writing mode [as soon as possible] and record some fresh rock 'n' roll, also [as soon as possible]."
MÖTLEY CRÜE, BLUE ÖYSTER CULT, DIMMU BORGIR, EDGUY, GAMMA RAY, DANKO JONES and PENTAGRAM are the first confirmed bands for next year's edition of the Sweden Rock Festival, set to take place June 6-9, 2012 in Sölvesborg, Blekinge in southern Sweden. Around 70 bands will perform on the festival's five stages next summer.
Three-day tickets (for the main festival days) and four-day tickets (including the Wednesday opening) for next year's event were made available this morning through www.swedenrock.com. The first 5000 ticket buyers will receive a Sweden Rock T-shirt which will not be available anywhere else. The design was made by British artist Sleba, known for his work with LED ZEPPELIN and "Star Wars", among others.
METALLICA guitarist Kirk Hammett joined ANTHRAX on stage last night at The Warfield in San Francisco, California. Fan-filmed video footage of his appearance can be seen below. Also available is a photo of members of ANTHRAX, EXODUS, SLAYER and METALLICA hanging out backstage during last night's concert, which included additional performances by TESTAMENT and DEATH ANGEL.
ANTHRAX's new album, "Worship Music", sold 28,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 12 on The Billboard 200 chart. The band's previous studio CD, 2003's "We've Come For You All", opened with just under 10,000 units to debut at No. 122.
The CD cover artwork for "Worship Music" was handled by renowned comic book artist Alex Ross, who has worked with Marvel Comics and DC Comics and is known for his "Marvels", "Kingdom Come", and "Astro City" illustrations. Ross also did the original artwork for ANTHRAX's "We've Come For You All" and "Music Of Mass Destruction" albums.
"Lulu", the musical collaboration between Lou Reed and METALLICA, is due on November 1 in North America via Warner Bros. Records and one day earlier (October 31) in the rest of the world through Universal Music. The CD was co-produced by Reed, METALLICA, Hal Willner — who has produced albums for Reed, Marianne Faithfull, and Laurie Anderson, among others — and Greg Fidelman. Fidelman also mixed the record.

A primeira edição do festival Lollapalooza no Brasil abre a venda dos ingressos a partir da segunda quinzena do mês de novembro. O festival acontecerá nos dias 6 e 7 de abril de 2012 no Jockey Club, em São Paulo. O anúncio oficial será realizado no início de novembro em parceria com a edição chilena do mesmo festival.

O vocalista do Slipknot, Corey Taylor, se envolveu em uma batalha de egos no entre os organizadores do Soundwave Festival e a Courtney Love.
Courtney retirou sua banda (Hole) do festival, após descobrir que teria que tocar antes do Limp Bizkit. Ela entrou em uma guerra pelo Twitter com os organizadores, dizendo que o Hole ganharia menos que o Slipknot, System of a Down e Marilyn Manson, e que isso era “machista”. “O que diabos fez você pensar que abriríamos o show daquele cara do Limp? Sem ofensas, isso é maluco“, ela disse.
O organizador Al Maddah, respondeu dizendo os fãs que ia contratar bandas maiores para substituir o Hole nos sete dias de festival em fevereiro e março. Corey disse que a atitude de Courtney foi covarde e que ela deveria agradecer qualquer proposta que a banda dela receba.
Corey Taylor disse: “Courtney, você não lança nada importante em quanto tempo? Pare de se achar e se afundar no seu drama. Você precisa dar pequenos passos pra voltar até onde você estava, não voltar do nada e achar que está no topo. Isso é uma forma covarde de olhar as coisas e é injusto com o Limp Bizkit. Cala a boca e toque.”
Um reconciliação entre o festival e Courtney é improvável, já que os organizadores não vão ceder as vontades dela. Maddah disse: “Como se a gente fosse pedir permissão pra ela cada vez que contratar uma banda. Não tem motivos pra chamarmos a banda dela de volta se ela vai cancelar logo depois, ou aparecer e agir feito uma vadia com os outros artistas e fãs.”
O guitarrista Tony Iommi disse à revista britânica Terrorizer que os quatro membros originais do Black Sabbath, recentemente se reuniram em uma sala de ensaio pela primeira vez em anos, acrescentando: "Tocamos algumas coisas antigas e de estar juntos novamente foi ótimo. Estamos todos em boas condições e em uma fase em que podemos nos reunir novamente. Seria bom se pudéssemos e eu suponho que estamos bem próximo disso. Pode acontecer!"

"Rebel Love Song", the new video from Los Angeles theatrical rockers BLACK VEIL BRIDES, can be seen below. The song comes off the band's sophomore album, "Set The World On Fire", which sold 23,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 17 on The Billboard 200 chart. The record arrived in stores on June 14 via Lava Music/Universal Republic Records.
BLACK VEIL BRIDES' first album, "We Stitch These Wounds", opened with nearly 11,000 units to enter the chart at No. 36. The CD was released on July 20, 2010 via Standby Records.
BLACK VEIL BRIDES frontman Andy Biersack recently revealed to Artisan News that BLACK VEIL BRIDES will release a new EP in early 2012 prior to entering the studio to begin recording a new full-length CD. He said, "We're gonna be putting out an EP, hopefully around the first of the year — just a couple of songs and some stuff that we've been toying around with, some tracks from the last record that didn't make it to the [last] record, kind of revamping some stuff. We just wanna keep putting out material for all our fans."

RECKLESS LOVE singer Olli Herman (a.k.a. H. Olliver Twisted) joined CRASHDIET in 2006 as the replacement for David Hellman (a.k.a. Dave Lepard), who committed suicide in January 2006.
Olli left CRASHDIET shortly after the release of the band's second album, "The Unattractive Revolution", in order to focus all his attention on RECKLESS LOVE.
The self-titled debut album from RECKLESS LOVE entered the official chart in the band's home country of Finland at position No. 13.

Courtney Love cancelou o show do Hole no Soundwave Festival, na Austrália, após descobrir que o Limp Bizkit tocaria depois de sua banda. A informação é do site NME.
A cantora teria mandando uma mensagem no Twitter para o produtor do festival, AJ Maddah, expressando sua indignação. "O que fez você pensar que abriríamos para o Limp Bizkit? Não leve a mal, mas isso é loucura", escreveu.
Também pelo Twitter, o produtor disse estar "muito nervoso" com a situação. "Como se fôssemos pedir permissão para ela cada vez que convidarmos uma banda. Não há sentido em aceitá-la de volta, apenas para ela cancelar novamente ou agir como uma imbecil podre com os outros artistas e os fãs", escreveu.
O Soundwave Festival acontece em fevereiro e março de 2012 e tem como atrações, além do Limp Bizkit, as bandas System of a Down, Slipknot e Machine Head.
Weed-grinding death metallers CANNABIS CORPSE are currently on the road in support of their raging new album, "Beneath Grow Lights Thou Shalt Rise" (out now on Tankcrimes), and have been criss-crossing the U.S. of A alongside longtime pals THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER and ALL SHALL PERISH.
On Saturday, October 8, CANNABIS CORPSE's van broke down and they missed their slot on the "Ritual Tour" that night with THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER and ALL SHALL PERISH in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Through the band's Facebook page, they were able to put out the word that the band wouldn't make it and asked if anyone could help out with a DIY late night gig in the area. Rich "Bebo" Abraham of Richolow Films, a Lancaster-based metal music video company, got in touch the band and coordinated a show for CANNABIS CORPSE right down the street from the THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER concert to start at midnight. The guys made it to the venue in time to watch THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER and after the show marched with 100 local thrashers to a small venue up the street. A complete rager commenced. Richolow Films caught it all, and now Metal Injection has posted the video for all you maniacs to enjoy (see below).
On "Beneath Grow Lights Thou Shalt Rise", CANNABIS CORPSE has ventured even further down the left-hand path to pay homage to those other masters of death, MORBID ANGEL and DEICIDE. Tongue-in-cotton-mouthed-cheek titles like "Lunatic of Pot's Creation" and "Immortal Pipes" keep the party rolling, but don't be fooled: CANNABIS CORPSE is not a joke band. Sure, they'll fire up a bowl and chug a beer, but then they'll rip your face off with a brutal old-school death metal assault, the likes of which haven't been seen since the seeds of the genre first began to grow.
"No Ghost", the new video from Swedish metallers THE HAUNTED, can be seen below. The clip was filmed at Germany's Wacken Open Air festival in August 2011 by Marcel Schleiff of Record Film and was edited by Anders Björler of At The Gates Production. The live sound recording was engineered by Jacky Lehmann of Audiosound Lehmann and was mixed by the band's longtime producer Tue Madsen at Antfarm Studio in Denmark.
"No Ghost" comes off THE HAUNTED's seventh studio album, "Unseen", which sold around 1,200 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 33 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
"Unseen" was released on March 29 via Century Media Records. The CD was once again recorded with longtime producer Tue Madsen (MOONSPELL, DARK TRANQUILLITY, GOREFEST, SICK OF IT ALL) at his Antfarm Studio in Århus, Denmark.

Alternative Music Hub recently conducted an interview with Dez Fafara (DEVILDRIVER, COAL CHAMBER) about COAL CHAMBER's upcoming reunion tour as part of Australia's Soundwave Festival. A few excerpts from the chat follow below.
Alternative Music Hub: How excited are you to play as COAL CHAMBER again?
Dez: Very excited; it has been a slow progression. Meegs [Miguel Rascón, guitar] and Mikey [Mike Cox, drums] started to come around in '05. They came around to a sold-out DEVILDRIVER show in California and Meegs pulled my wife aside and apologized to her about everything that went that caused my family to move into a one-bedroom apartment and start all over again. I thought that was rather big-hearted of him and they were off hard drugs for 2-3 years then. Cut to '09, Meegs came up to DEVILDRIVER to play [COAL CHAMBER's] "Loco" with us on stage in Pasadena. At the end of it, he came up and gave me a hug and said, "I want to do this in the future." Now in 2011 we are talking about doing shows. They have been off the hard drugs for some time so they can play at 100 percent capacity. We want to bring back the Ten Ton Gorilla back on the stage.
Alternative Music Hub: That is good to hear as the drugs were an issue that caused the breakup.
Dez: When I left COAL CHAMBER, I told the press I was leaving because I wanted to go a different musical direction. But what I did was take the high road and not say in front of their wives, parents and families, all of whom I have known for years, that, "Hey, they are so strung out on drugs they are going to be dead." I just took the high road and said I was leaving. That was good because I never went against them in the press. It allowed them to get clean and allowed us to be friends. I realized that every night I was on stage with a microphone in my hand, I was putting money in their pockets which led to putting drugs into their hands. Once we stopped going on stage as COAL CHAMBER, their money ran out, their fame ran out and they eventually had to get clean. Now that they are alive, what more do you need to say apart from, my friends are alive and want to play music.
Alternative Music Hub: What is the situation with [former COAL CHAMBER bassists] Nadja [Peulen] or Rayna [Foss]?
Dez: Well, Rayna was far gone, way in the beginning. She has some stuff she is dealing with internally, which I don't think will bring her back to music. Nadja, we had talks with her. We needed the enthusiasm as well as… We didn't want any demands; because we had no demands. It was the best interest of the original members was to go find someone with the same interest as we did and enthusiasm. That is where Chela [Rhea Harper] had come from. She's [a] real-deal player. She grew up with the music of COAL CHAMBER, brings that enthusiasm and she is an amazing-looking girl so she will have a great stage presence.
Alternative Music Hub: I know it has been said that COAL CHAMBER are only playing Soundwave but if it all goes well, could we see other tours around the world?
Dez: Since we announced we are doing Soundwave, we have offers to do tours and we are not even discussing it. We have been offered three or four record deals. We want to come down and have a fun time and full of happiness. Once we get home from it, then we may discuss it. Keep in mind three days after we get home from Soundwave, I go on tour of America with DEVILDRIVER. So with DEVILDRIVER being booked, it will be hard to have both.

"Home", the new video from California rockers WARRANT, can be seen below. The song comes off the band's new album, "Rockaholic", which was released in North America on May 17 via Frontiers Records. At the helm of the CD was mega-producer Keith Olsen (OZZY OSBOURNE, WHITESNAKE, SCORPIONS), with the mixing duties having been handled by Pat Regan (KISS, DEEP PURPLE, TED NUGENT).
In an interview with the Phoenix New Times' "Up On The Sun" blog, singer Robert Mason stated about WARRANT's new material, "We really took our time, and, through a couple years of doing 'fly' dates, we kinda said, well, the band works, we're all doing it for the right reasons, we're all really happy on stage. It's great playing this legacy of music, and the fans love it, so why not [write some new songs] — but we were careful about it. We didn't just throw a record together. We test-marketed a couple of these songs live last summer, just springing them on the audiences. 'Hey this is something you've never heard before,' and by the end of the song, everyone is singing along, or buying into it. So we figured we should put the record out."
When asked if WARRANT felt a lot of pressure writing the new material to live up to the hit songs the band had scored, Mason replied, "We're just musicians. I'm just a songwriter/singer in a rock band. I was writing songs for this record, and personally, did I feel like they had to fit into an old-school WARRANT mode? To a degree, but I don't really think you write songs like that. The fact that we are all from the same headspace, it kind of worked out that way. Some of these songs sound like a bit of a departure, but there are tracks on this new CD that we played live in the rehearsal room, and they came together through pre-production and shit, for the year prior or so to this record, and they sound like WARRANT songs to us. It's just me singing. My voice is a little different than the original singer, but it's just a thing were you go on, and you write songs. I turned over things I had written, and say, do your thing, play it the WARRANT way, and they could do nothing else, and I would ask nothing else. So, is that the long way of answering yes? (laughs) I didn't feel pressure, or intimidation, but there was a certain responsibility."
"Three And A Half Letters (I Need A Job)", the new video from CHICKENFOOT, can be seen below. The song comes off the group's sophomore album, "III", sold 42,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 9 on The Billboard 200 chart. The band's self-titled debut opened with 49,000 units back in June 2009 to debut at No. 6.
In a recent interview with Music Radar, CHICKENFOOT guitarist Joe Satriani stated about "Three And A Half Letters (I Need A Job)", "Carter [the band's manager, John Carter, who died of cancer halfway through the recording the new disc] had been asking Sam [CHICKENFOOT singer Sammy Hagar] to write a topical song about the economic situation. 'I need a job' was the line that was being used. At the same time, Sam started going through letters that he had received from fans, and a lot of them were pretty desperate. He got the idea to put it all together.
"He called me and said that in the verses he was going to read some of the letters, and in the choruses he was going to scream 'I need a job!' The plan was that at the end of each chorus I would just go nuts on guitar. Sam didn’t want me to sketch out or demo what I would do. Total, gut-reaction spontaneity was what he had in mind.
"I did write out the main framework for the song, though. The band got together on the last day of recording, and we went for it live in one take — raw, unchecked emotions. For the solo sections, I stepped on the Proctavia and went crazy. We added a second guitar for the chorus chords and moved the live solo guitar to the center and added delays hard left and right.
"Sam's vocal performance is so heartfelt and real. The last verse is quite dramatic. I have to admit to getting choked up when I hear this song."
"III" was produced by Mike Fraser (AC/DC, METALLICA) and is the much-anticipated follow-up album to the successful eponymous debut of a rock band packed with successful veterans.
Featuring guitar hero Joe Satriani and former VAN HALEN members Michael Anthony (bass) and Sammy Hagar (vocals), CHICKENFOOT's touring lineup includes legendary drummer/musician Kenny Aronoff, who is filling in for Chad Smith while Smith hits the road with his main band, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS.
Commented Joe Satriani, "Kenny brings that same combination of super chops and wild energy to the band that we're used to; and, offstage, he's just as crazy as Chad."
"Chickenfoot III" features 10 tracks with so many moments of epiphany that one can barely take them all in on first listen. Colossal, stadium-shaking riffs abound on earth-movers such as "Alright, Alright", "Last Temptation", "Bigfoot" and "Lighten Up".

Axl: Se você tem uma garrafa de Jack Daniels, você sempre arruma algo para fazer. Pode ser algo não muito bom e você pode acordar em um lugar em que não gostaria de estar... tipo a cadeia.
Em entrevista à revista Forbes, o guitarrista Scott Ian comentou a relação sua e do Anthrax com as redes sociais. “Diria que elas são uma das poucas coisas positivas que a internet deu ao mercado musical. O Twitter é algo que abracei há cerca de um ano. Poder conversar com os fãs sem intermediários é ótimo, pois posso me expressar corretamente. Tenho cerca de 60 mil seguidores em meu perfil, número mais ou menos igual ao do Anthrax”.
Mas esse contato é só o que interessa ao músico. “Tudo que amo no Twitter é proporcionalmente inverso ao que sinto em relação aos downloads ilegais. Se alguém me desse o poder de apagar a internet de nossas vidas, assim faria. Conteúdo artístico não é gratuito. As pessoas roubam e isso é errado. É o lado inconseqüente da rede”.
Jed Gottlieb of Ultimate Classic Rock recently conducted an interview with legendary heavy metal singer Ozzy Osbourne. A couple of excerpts from the chat follow below.
Ultimate Classic Rock: You've done a lot of non-music projects lately. Books, TV—
Ozzy: That TV show was an experiment that went beyond anybody's expectations. And I can honestly tell you it was 100 percent real. It wasn't like, "OK, come here and fall down the stairs and pretend you've killed yourself." Those things that you saw were real. There were hours and hours and hours of stuff that was unusable or was just the monotony of daily life. But every now and again there was something good. That's what happens when you have a camera on you 24-hours a day, you do something stupid.
Ultimate Classic Rock: But are you glad you did it?
Ozzy: Yeah, I'm glad I did it. But, yeah, I'm glad it's over. You began to feel like your life's a laboratory. You're invited to all these parties and your on the top lists at all the awards shows. You start to go, "This is bullshit!" My wife got cancer, I was back on the drugs and alcohol, my kids were on the drugs and alcohol. They were letting them into night clubs at the age of 14 and 15.
Ultimate Classic Rock: A lot of metal fans would rather see Ozzy onstage and not on reality TV.
Ozzy: That's why I'm back in rock. I just got off an 18-month tour doing a 100 shows. I've got a new band that's great. BLACK SABBATH are all talking again and maybe something will come out of thatm but I don't know.
Ultimate Classic Rock: But are you hopeful? Do you think it's a real possibility SABBATH will happen?
Ozzy: I'm not saying too much about it. Because we're just at the gates but it's a good possibility.
Ultimate Classic Rock: How long can until we get some new music from either SABBATH or Ozzy?
Ozzy: I'm writing but I had to take a break to go on tour. Then I had to take to a break to do the book. Now I have to do interviews for the book. Back in the day we did a little less ground work on each album. Now I've got TV, which I do resentfully, and interviews to do.

Fan-filmed video footage of UNISONIC performing the HELLOWEEN classic "Future World" earlier tonight (Saturday, October 15) at this year's edition of the Loud Park festival at Saitama Super Arena, a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Saitama City, Japan, can be seen below.
UNISONIC is the new band featuring former HELLOWEEN vocalist Michael Kiske and Kai Hansen (GAMMA RAY, ex-HELLOWEEN) alongside Dennis Ward (bass) and Kosta Zafiriou (drums) of Germany's PINK CREAM 69 and Swiss guitarist Mandy Meyer (who has previously played with ASIA, GOTTHARD and KROKUS).
The group, which recently inked a deal with earMUSIC/Edel, will release its debut EP in January 2012. A full-length album will follow in the early spring.
After the addition of Hansen to the group's lineup in early 2011, UNISONIC continued the songwriting process for its debut release, incorporating Kai's talent for writing great anthemic rock songs into its existing material. The recordings for the album started at end of September at ICP studios in Brussels, Belgium.
UNISONIC's music is very versatile and shows a broad approach to heavy rock without sacrificing the power and strong, catchy melodies that characterized the bandmembers' previous projects.
Commented Kiske: "It feels great to finally bring the band to the studio and record the songs we've been working on. We took our time to grow as a band, but it was definitely worth it and we are very proud of the result."
Added bassist/producer Ward: "We have a bunch of very strong songs and can't wait until people can hear them. Everyone in the band is now looking even more positive into the future."
Regarding Hansen's addition to UNISONIC, Kiske previously said, "After so many years of abstinence, I had a lot of fun doing my first live shows with UNISONIC in summer 2010, so I agreed to do the short world tour with AVANTASIA. It was a great experience to be on stage with all those great artists, but with Kai it was something different: We instantly felt the magic again and had a lot of fun together on and off stage. We both realized that we want to be together in band again. He was interested in the open musical concept of UNISONIC and finally asked me if he can join the band. I talked to my bandmates and they all felt great about it. His talent as a guitarist and songwriter is an enrichment for the band and we are looking forward to his contribution for the music of UNISONIC."
Kai Hansen's position in GAMMA RAY will be unaffected by his involvement with UNISONIC.

Até o momento, apenas uma apresentação no Brasil foi anunciada, o show será no dia 12 de janeiro (quinta-feira) em São Paulo na casa de shows Via Funchal.
Formada por três violoncelistas, o Apocalyptica obteve grande sucesso no cenário internacional de heavy metal com excelentes e inusitados covers de bandas como Metallica, Faith No More, Sepultura, Pantera, Iron Maiden, entre outros.

"So Long" comes off HELMET's latest full-length album, "Seeing Eye Dog", which came out on September 7, 2010. The band's first LP since 2006's critically acclaimed "Monochrome" and its seventh album overall was made available on the indie Work Song label (with physical distribution by Redeye and direct-to-fan digital delivery by Topspin). The CD was produced by HELMET mainman Page Hamilton, with additional production by Toshi Kasai and vocal production by Mark Renk.
Hamilton is joined by drummer Kyle Stevenson, guitarist Dan Beeman and bassist Chris Traynor; HELMET's live bassist is Dave Case.

É comum vermos ex-companheiros de banda exaltar um músico quando ele morre. Mesmo quando não tinham uma amizade como antigamente, nessa hora acabam esquecendo as diferenças e revelando belas memórias. Pois esse não é o caso do Warrant. Depois do guitarrista Erik Turner (leia abaixo), foi a vez do baixista Jerry Dixon falar sobre o pesadelo que era a convivência com Jani Lane nos últimos anos. A entrevista foi conduzida pelo San Antonio Metal Music Examiner.
A morte de Jani pegou de surpresa e chocou muitas pessoas. Quando havia sido a última vez que vocês se falaram?
Foi em 2008. Voltamos para Los Angeles e ele estava fora de si novamente. Dissemos: “Chega dessa situação” e foi isso. Tentamos fazer cerca de 10 shows. Ele tinha muitos demônios a enfrentar. As pessoas assistem o Celebrity Rehab e olham para caras como Steven Adler. Aí enxergam como é difícil lidar com esse tipo de pessoa.
Que aspecto de Jani você sente mais falta? Há alguma memória especial que gostaria de compartilhar?
No fim das contas, agradeço por ele ter feito parte da banda. Tenho orgulho da música que criamos no passado. O que fizemos foi mágico e guardarei com carinho.
Como você acha que as pessoas deveriam lembrar dele?
Você quer a resposta honesta ou a demagoga?
A honesta, seja qual for.
Vamos colocar da seguinte maneira. Não é fácil lidar com alguém naquele estado. É o mais próximo do inferno que se pode imaginar. Para nós, sua família, sua filha, os fãs e até mesmo para ele. As drogas transformam a vida de todos ao redor em um pesadelo. Não quero que isso encubra as boas memórias de quem não o conheceu pessoalmente. Mas ter vivido a situação de perto foi de enlouquecer. Shows cancelados, perdas de casa, falência, esse é o resultado final. Mas ao mesmo tempo, é preciso não levar para o lado pessoal. Só que não é algo divertido o que a tríade sexo, drogas e Rock n Roll pode fazer com quem perde o controle.
Você sente que falhou como amigo?
Absolutamente não. Se eu falhei, a filha dele falhou, todos os outros amigos também. As pessoas devem saber que em 2008, contratamos um cara chamado Bob para nos acompanhar na estrada. Ele era especialista em cuidar de pessoas com problemas químicos. Mas Jani sumia no meio da madrugada e ia para um bar. Achamos que esse cara conseguiria colocá-lo nos eixos, mas a coisa não funciona assim. A pessoa precisa querer ser ajudada. Falhamos? Não acredito. Tentamos o máximo que pudemos.
Prestes a completar 20 anos de carreira, o Machine Head é uma das bandas sobreviventes do chamado metal alternativo, que surgiu em meados dos anos de 1990. A explosão do grunge no início daquela década praticamente matou o thrash de bandas como Anthrax e Slayer. Parecia que não havia futuro para o estilo.
Até que bandas como Sepultura, Pantera, Fear Factory e o próprio Machine Head passaram a misturar o peso das origens a batidas diferentes e novas idéias musicais. Duas décadas depois, o quinteto de São Francisco segue com a mesma mentalidade. "Para nós o importante é ir adiante", disse o baterista Dave McClain ao UOL, por telefone.
Lançando o sétimo álbum de estúdio "Unto The Locust", a banda vem ao Brasil pela primeira vez. A turnê, ao lado dos velhos amigos do Sepultura, começa nesta sexta-feira (14) em São Paulo, no Via Funchal, e passa no sábado (15) por Curitiba (Master Hall) e no domingo (16) por Porto Alegre (Centro de Eventos Casa do Gaúcho).
UOL Música - É a primeira vez da banda no Brasil. Como é vir tocar aqui depois de quase 20 anos de carreira? Dave McClain - Estamos muito prontos para ir, você nem imagina! Falamos em ir ao Brasil há tanto tempo, mas nunca rolou. Ouvimos sempre falar sobre como os shows aí são loucos. Mal podemos esperar para chegar e conhecer os fãs brasileiros.
UOL Música - O que está no repertório dos shows brasileiros? McClain - Estamos decidindo ainda. Queremos tocar as músicas óbvias que sempre tocamos, como "Davidian", "Old", "Ten Ton Hammer", "Imperium" e "Halo", mas também adicionar músicas diferentes em cada show. A apresentação dura duas horas, então terá toneladas de músicas.
UOL Música - Vocês vão dividir a turnê com o Sepultura, e é interessante ver as duas bandas juntas porque ambas tiveram trajetórias paralelas nos anos 90, trazendo inovações ao metal. McClain - Definitivamente. Vejo muitos paralelos entre as duas bandas. Eu diria que o Machine Head foi muito influenciado pelo Sepultura, que veio um pouco antes. Quando compusemos o "The More Things Change" [segundo álbum da banda, de 1997, considerado um marco do então chamado "metal alternativo"] ouvíamos muito duas bandas: uma era o Sepultura, principalmente os álbuns "Chaos AD" e "Roots", e a outra era o Pantera.
UOL Música - Vocês foram pioneiros na mistura de batidas suingadas e som pesado, e foram muitas vezes chamado de precursores do nu-metal. Você concorda com este rótulo? McClain - Precursores do Korn e Limp Bizkit? De jeito nenhum! Bem, o Machine Head sempre teve muita influencia de metal, obviamente, mas também de muito hip-hop. No terceiro álbum, "The Burning Red", essas referências se tornaram mais óbvias, com vocais rap e coisas assim. Muita gente não gostou, mas foi um disco muito importante para nós. Os dois primeiros álbuns são muito parecidos, então era hora de tentar novas idéias. Quando você é músico é preciso fazer isso.
UOL Música - Vocês estão lançando um novo álbum, "Unto The Locust". Como ele soa em comparação com os discos clássicos de vocês? McClain - Não vou compará-lo a nada que veio antes de "Through The Ashes Of Empires" (2003), porque para mim esse disco foi um recomeço para a banda. Aconteceu algo pela primeira vez, que foi manter a mesma formação em três álbuns seguidos. Estávamos com a mesma mentalidade, pensando "somos uma banda de metal e é isso o que vamos fazer". Isso foi o que marcou nossos discos daí em diante. Pegamos elementos de cada trabalho e tentamos expandi-los, mas fazendo coisas que nunca tentamos. Desta vez, o disco novo tem muita influência de música clássica, algumas das coisas mais brutais e obscuras que já fizemos.
UOL Música - "Unto The Locust" demorou quatro anos para ficar pronto e os dois trabalhos anteriores também demoraram mais ou menos a mesma coisa. Por que tanta demora? McClain - Só a turnê de "The Blackening" (2007) durou três anos. Então é mais ou menos um ano para compor e gravar, seguido de três anos excursionando. Não costumamos compor muito em turnê, então geralmente só começamos a fazer o próximo disco quando encerramos tudo. Por sorte as turnês foram ótimas, podíamos ter continuado tocando, ofertas de shows não faltaram, mas tínhamos que fechar a porta e seguir adiante.
UOL Música - O "The Blackening" foi um grande sucesso para o metal, chegando inclusive às paradas principais Billboard. Vocês se sentiram pressionados a repetir essa marca com o novo disco? McClain - Foi bom tocar o "The Blackening" durante tanto tempo. Ao invés de sentir pressão para voltar e repetir a mesma fórmula, estávamos prontos para algo novo. Sempre sentimos um pouco de medo quando começamos a compor e não sabemos o que vai acontecer, mas rolou uma química incrível. Já tínhamos feito dois álbuns incríveis juntos e por isso estávamos muito entusiasmados para criar algo novo.
UOL Música - Hoje em dia existe muita nostalgia das décadas de 80 e 90. Qual é o futuro do estilo na sua opinião? Ainda existe espaço para a inovação? McClain - Com certeza. Uma coisa é nostalgia, mas para nós o importante é ir adiante. Ouvimos muitas bandas novas e também temos nosso passado. Tem sempre alguma coisa que pegamos da infância, bandas como Judas Priest e Iron Maiden, os fundadores do metal. Mas também sempre há barreiras a serem derrubadas. Nós sempre tentamos progredir como músicos, pegando elementos de bandas como o Rush para fazer músicas mais complexas, com partes mais difíceis de tocar, adicionando e criando coisas novas.
UOL Música - Algum recado para o Sepultura? McClain - Sim! Tragam muita pinga!

EZO is the American self-titled debut album from the Japanese metal band Ezo. It was released in 1987 on Geffen Records and co-produced by Gene Simmons of KISS fame. Songwriters from the Kiss’ entourage contributed heavily to the songs of the album. Jody Gray, co-writer of Destroyer, co-wrote and co-produced the 2nd album, Fire Fire (Geffen).
